Design Notes

The Lichen Detachable Koti was designed by combining classic denim construction with lace-up detailing typically found in utility gear, corsetry, and protective garments.

Built with a structured cropped silhouette, the jacket features rope lacing across both shoulders, reinforced snap-button closures, and extended cuff detailing that gives the garment a heavier industrial feel despite its minimal shape.

The contrast between the clean body construction and aggressive hardware placement was intentionally used to create tension throughout the piece.

Finished with matte black hardware and reinforced cut-and-sew construction throughout the garment.
